Official results of the European election in Poland

On Sunday, Poles have chosen 52 delegates to the European Parliament. The PKW published the official results on 2.30 pm on Monday.

Law and Justice secured the highest number of votes – 45,38 percent. This translates into 27 seats in the European Parliament.

The second result was secured by the European Coalition – 38,47 percent of votes (22 seats).

Wiosna (Spring) party took the third spot with 6,06 percent of votes (3 seats).

The Confederation Korwin Braun Liroy Nationalists found itself below the minimum 5-percent threshold with 4,55 percent of votes.

Kukiz ’15 movement received 3,69 percent of votes, while Left Together 1,24 percent.

The remaining committees scored less than 1 percent each.

The turnout amounted to 45,68 percent.

From the Law and Justice list the following candidates will go to Brussels: Anna Fotyga, Kosma Złotowski, Karol Karski, Krzysztof Jurgiel, Jacek Saryusz-Wolski, Ryszard Czarnecki, Adam Bielan, Zbigniew Kuźmiuk, Witold Waszczykowski, Joanna Kopcińska, Zdzisław Krasnodębski, Andżelika Możdżanowska, Elżbieta Kruk, Beata Mazurek, Tomasz Poręba, Bogdan Rzońca, Beata Szydło, Ryszard Legutko, Patryk Jaki, Jadwiga Wiśniewska, Grzegorz Tobiszowski, Izabela Kloc, Anna Zalewska, Beata Kempa, Joachim Brudziński, Elżbieta Rafalska and Dominik Tarczyński.

Dominik Tarczyński has won the 52nd ticket and therefore will assume his office only after the Brexit procedure comes to an end – when British MEPs will free their seats.

MEPs representing the European Coalition: Janusz Lewandowski, Magdalena Adamowicz, Radosław Sikorski, Tomasz Frankowski, Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz, Andrzej Halicki, Danuta Huebner, Jarosław Kalinowski, Marek Belka, Ewa Kopacz, Leszek Miller, Krzysztof Hetman, Elżbieta Łukacijewska, Róża Thun, Adam Jarubas, Jerzy Buzek, Marek Balt, Jan Olbrycht, Janina Ochojska-Okońska, Jarosław Duda, Bogusław Liberadzki and Bartosz Arłukowicz.
